VERRE GLASS

I thought I had found Santa when I came across Claudius Breig as he was hanging vintage glass ornaments in the window. Claudius specializes in vintage glass, and his shop is a mix of anything "verre" imaginable - candy dishes that your grandmother used to set out on a doily, vases, bowls, lights, and so much more. Mr. Breig's shop is open "in the afternoon" from Tuesday to Saturday and only accepts cash. You won't find Verreglass online - this is the epitome of a treasure in Paris.

Department stores for food & gift giving

  • BON MARCHÉ

This dog-friendly department store goes all out on the Christmas decor, stunning windows, pop-up shops, a Christmas decor section, and so much more.

  • GALERIES LAFAYETTE

Aside from the famous two-story Christmas tree and light show, GL also offers incredible window decorations and on-site activities not to be missed.

  • BHV

My love for this Marais department store knows no bounds. Dog-friendly, less expensive than the above listed, and easy to navigate, you'll find me and the girls here often on a rainy Sunday.

  • GRANDE EPICERIE

Part of the Bon Marché and located directly across the street, this multi-story food store showcases the best products France has to offer.

  • LAFAYETTE FOOD COURT

Similar to the Grand Epicerie, the GL food court has a wide variety of eateries and groceries. You'll also find Christmas decor on the upper floors.

  • EATALY

Part of the BHV complex, Eataly is an Italian grocery complex. From the huge wine selection in the basement, to the on-site eateries, to the fantastic array of Italian food imports, it's not to be missed!

Get it Delivered!

If you have a bigger order to place and want your groceries delivered, I suggest Mon Marché or Monoprix
