Coffee in Paris, Partisan Café
Sitting proudly on a busy street corner in the neighborhood of Arts et Métiers, you'll find Partisan Artisanal Café. Find your caffeine fix and an international vibe at this contemporary location.
Partisan Café's charm comes from those who bring it to life. Filled with locals and tourists, this neighborhood shop is welcoming to all. The industrial-chic ambiance is one of the key selling points, with huge floor-to-ceiling windows that slide open to let fresh air in during the summer months. Met and left with smiles, Partisan brings a new wave coffee era to Paris like never before. Take your drink to go and sip it as you discover the Marais walking routes we include in this edition.
Or relax and stay awhile - the vibrant locals and excited tourists who walk in make for excellent people watching.
Partisan Café roasts their blends in-house and offers fresh-ground coffee or whole beans for any machine type you might have in your flat. Popular drink choices include the flat white, Italian-style iced latte, and cappuccinos. English is spoken here and there are alternative milk options available.
If you find yourself in the mood for a light snack, opt for the house-made granola and the fan favorite - carrot cake.
Partisan Café was born from an idea between two Lebanese brothers: Georges Karam, who wanted to leave the finance industry, and Anthony Karam, who founded Le Comptoir, a cellar of fine wines and spirits in Beirut.
After watching the artisan beer industry and microbreweries taking off in Paris, the Karam brothers wanted to explore the world of artisan coffee production.
With this concept in mind, you can decide whether your coffee is made from Italian-style beans or new wave coffee. Regardless of your drink choice, the coffee is prepared by well-trained baristas on some of the best equipment on the market.
“To do good work one must eat well, be well housed, have one’s fling from time to time, smoke one’s pipe, and drink one’s coffee in peace.”
