Colmar Day Trip Guide: A Refined Alsace Itinerary from Strasbourg

When I travel by train in France, I use the application (web or phone) called Trainline. I pre-booked our train tickets and knew how long it would take to walk from the apartment to the Strasbourg train station, allowing extra time to find the correct platform.

It's a short, commuter train ride to Colmar and the walk into town takes about 15-minutes. I suggest booking restaurant reservations in advance. A few places to try are Version Originale 68, Les Six Montagnes, or Wistub de la Petite Venise. Don't forget to use Trainline to book your return trip too!
