Seasonal Temptation

Culinary Excellence And Fresh Delights

In the spirit of an urban farm, L'ÎLE proudly boasts its very own vegetable garden. Fragrant herbs like mint, chives, and thyme are a playground for the kitchen and mixology teams. Seasonal delights like green asparagus, succulent fruits, and locally sourced meats grace the tables. L'ÎLE's commitment to the finest extends to its partnerships with exceptional producers – Eric Ospital's organic olive oil, Philippe Uracca's "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" ice cream sundaes, Joël Dupuch's "Impératrice special" oysters, and the finest craft beers in Paris.

Epicerie Kalios: Temptation At The Entrance

As you enter this countryside haven, the allure of exceptional Kalios products beckons. Indulge in Chef Arbelaez's organic olive oil, Karlamata olives in olive oil, green olives, and a variety of roasted and salted almonds – a treat to take home.

From Charcoal Grills To Serene Terraces

L'ÎLE is the sanctuary for worn-out Parisians seeking respite. The menu echoes weekends in the countryside – dishes kissed by open flames, like the Irish cut prime rib and Charolais beef ribs with homemade BBQ sauce. The outdoor bar and summer kitchen blend to create a Provence-inspired aperitif haven. Plates evoke the spirit of vacations – whiting goujonnettes with tartar sauce, a platter of charcuterie and seafood paired with rosé, and passion fruit spritz.

For The Connoisseurs Of Meat

Meat aficionados are in for a treat at L'ÎLE. The crème de la crème of meat cuts, including Irish Cut onglet de boeuf and caramelized ribs, grace the farmhouse plank.

The culinary magic unfolds over open flames, resulting in an experience like no other.

A Dream Getaway: Summer And Winter

L'ÎLE is an embodiment of comfort and freshness, akin to a summer garden. Whether it's a braised meat, a whiskey sour by the fireplace, or an avocado crab salad beneath chestnut trees – every mood and season finds its place.

Relax on plush sofas or sink your feet into the grass for a quintessential Sunday lunch. Bask in the sunlight, savor detox smoothies, and indulge in white wine while kids play in the sprawling garden. L'ÎLE is the dream destination for urbanites seeking refuge on the most exotic terrace Paris has to offer.

A Glimpse Into The Mind Of Laura Gonzalez

Laura Gonzalez, the architectural genius behind L'ÎLE, shares insights into her creation.
  1. How would you describe the new face of the island?
"It's a 19th-century building on an island surrounded by nature. It's a place outside Paris, as if you were going to the countryside. Everything had to be reinvented. We turned to the idea of a contemporary farmhouse, a very warm place with bricks, an oak bar, decorative paintings, and monumental wicker chandeliers. It's a real resort..."

  2. How did you want it to feel?
"We really dusted off the Parisian country house, without going too cliché or too contemporary. We really wanted it to feel like the countryside, both inside and out. There are fireplaces, a vegetable garden, a cellar with pots, a large table, herbariums, a winter garden, a very bucolic terrace, an outdoor bar... It's a very coherent place!"

  3. Where did you draw your inspiration from?
"...From the English cottage spirit. You'll find traces of this world all over L'île, with its antique paintings, library, rounded tiled walls, & brick fireplaces. Not to mention a very Parisian feel with the Drucker furniture. I used blues, reds, & greens straight out of a Vuillard painting, tweeds, velvets, florals, & stripes by Pierre Frey, William Morris, GP & J Baker, or Senderson."
