What to Wear in Paris, Winter Edition 2021

Take in the holiday glow and warming street food of Paris while staying warm during this cozy, romantic, holiday season.

Loads of layers and eye-catching outer-fits are the key to this season in the City of Lights.

Turtlenecks & Leather Boots

An essential and perfect base layer, start with a neutral color. I often wear a layer or two of thermal shirts underneath and have been reaching for cream or camel colors a lot this year. Try layer under blazers and dresses for added warmth but extra style when going out at night.

Opt for a pair of classic leather (or vegan leather!) boots. Layering with extra thick socks will help keep you cozy on cold Paris days.

TRAVEL UMBRELLA: My favorite French brand is Beau Nuage. This company specializes in travel-sized umbrellas that slide into water-proof sleeves. It's a brilliant design that keeps your bag from getting wet. I also tend to forget my umbrellas when I leave them on the ground to dry, so this is a fab solution.

PATTERNED SOCKS: As the seasons shift, a peek of a cute pattern is an inexpensive way to add interest to your outfit. I adore the feminine floral patterns that are available right now.

WARM GLOVES: Something that you might not think you need, but as the sun sets and you're walking to your next Christmas market, having a pair of gloves will definitely save the day.
