Where to Stay, Hotel Hoy

The future of hospitality design has arrived in the form of a holistic hotel called HOY Paris. Live in the today while living in the City of Lights.

HOY means "today" in Spanish. Located in the heart of Paris, in the middle of the famous foodie street Rue des Martyrs in the 9th arrondissement, Hotel HOY aims to cultivate the power of the present moment, the art of living well and eating well.

As I pushed open the doors from the bustling streets of Paris, I caught my breath, immediately surprised by the design aesthetic. Soft, creamy paint colors, concrete floors, and terracotta light fixtures find a home in a reception area doubling as a florist shop. Instantly, I feel at peace here, greeted by whispy dried pampas grass and snake plants. The check-in desk immediately flows into the restaurant bar space where house-made teas sit in ceramic pots.

HOY takes a holistic approach to hospitality, promising to be a place of well-being and good living for Parisians and voyagers from all over the world.

The hotel is a meeting place around its core pillars and design concept: a minimalist room aesthetic focused on self-care, a plant-based restaurant, a yoga studio, treatment rooms & florist.

When you first walk into a chambre at HOY, the first words that come to mind are peace, comfort, minimalism, calm, and tranquility. Every corner of their rooms are designed with so much thoughtfulness. The care for their customers is entirely evident from the hand-painted wall treatments to the handmade ceramic teacups.

But what is not evident? Something missing from a standard hotel room: a television. Instead, you will find a ballet bar installed on the wall, with instructions for gentle stretches and poses to help you wake up in the morning and to find a peaceful rest at night.
